Academic Programs
The center supports and engages doctoral nursing students in developing the knowledge and skills to promote the health of children and youth (ages 0-21) and their families.
The School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota offers these programs, and the Center enriches students’ opportunities and experiences in these programs.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Doctor of Nursing Practice Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
- PhD in Nursing with a research focus on children with special health care needs
- Post-graduate Certificates for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist for selected students who already have pediatric preparation and wish to add an additional specialty
