Five alumni were among the 253 distinguished nurse leaders inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in October.
Margaret Moss, PhD, JD, RN, FAAN, professor and associate dean for Nursing and Health Policy and Katherine R. & C. Walton Lillehei Chair in Nursing Leadership, will be inducted into the National Academy of Medicine at a ceremony on Oct. 7 in Washington, D.C.
Clinical Professor Judith Pechacek, DNP, RN, CENP, was a recipient of the Award for Excellence in Academic Unit Service from the University of Minnesota. This is the inaugural year of the Awards for Academic Unit Service.Â
Professor Niloufar Hadidi, PhD, APRN, ACNS-BC, FAHA, will receive the 2023 Mathy Mezey Excellence in Aging Award from the American Heart Association.
