Telehealth Nurse Presenter

Course Description:

This is an online continuing education course to teach essential knowledge about the role of the telehealth nurse presenter. It includes information about current telemedicine and telehealth practice, as well as future directions. Key information about telehealth equipment, preparing and conducting a telehealth visit, and continuity of care following a telehealth visit are addressed. Note: While a distinction is made in the course between telemedicine and telehealth, in fact, nursing uses these terms interchangeably.

Target Audience:

Registered nurses interested in effectively providing care as a telehealth nurse presenter.

This course has been awarded 19.75 ANCC contact hours.

Successful Completion of Course

Participants must have completed the following:

  • Accessed and completed the content found in each module.
  • Passed each module quiz with at least 80%.
  • Completed each module evaluation.
  • Completed the final Telehealth Nurse Presenter Activity.
  • Compelted the course evaluation.
