Minnesota Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence

NURS - Image - Gero 450x150The Minnesota Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (MnHCGNE) works to address the critical need for nurses with expertise in caring for older adults by preparing outstanding faculty to teach geriatric nursing in associate and higher degree programs in the Upper Midwest and tribal colleges. We do so through these initiatives:

The MNHCGNE  was established in 2008 as one of eight centers of gerontological nursing excellence funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation.  The center is also a founding member institution of the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence.
