Selection Process
The application is competitive, as only 4-6 students can be accepted. The application process includes the following:

1. Submission of the application and letter of reference release by November 14, 2011
   
2. Grant committee review of the applications to select the final candidates
3. Interview of final candidates
4. 4-6 students selected for 2012

Criteria for Selection

1. Ability to be a good ambassador
2. Interpersonal skills
3. Flexibility
4. Skill in functioning under stress
5. GPA must be 3.2 or above
6. Must be enrolled in Junior year BSN program
7. Documentation of recent course(s) in Spanish (for exchange in Mexico)
8. Well-written essays
9. Reference from faculty member addressing the criteria
