Application Process and Materials

Applications

Post-Masters Certificate applications will be reviewed on a space available basis, following the same deadlines as the M.S. program. The School of Nursing places priority on applications for the M.S. Degree. Applicants may apply for only one area of study. If you choose to add an area of study, you must complete requirements for each area of study. Application procedures are the same as the M.S. program.

Students who graduate with the Post-Master's certificate, whether with one or multiple areas of study, may not be subsequently re-admitted to complete an additional area of study. Once a student receives a Nursing Post-Masters Certificate, the Graduate School will not award the certificate to the student again.

Process for Deciding Admission

The School of Nursing Graduate Admissions and Progressions Committee will review all applications and portfolios and determine what requisite coursework in Disciplinary Core and Advanced Practice Core are necessary.

The Committee then makes a recommendation to the Graduate School on admission.
