Welcome to the Native Nurses Career Opportunity Program!

The Native Nurses Career Opportunity Program (NNCOP) was established in the Fall of 2003 by a grant from the Indian Health Service.  The University of Minnesota-School of Nursing in collaboration with the Indian Health Service is pleased to offer scholarships for American Indian and Native Alaskan nurses (RNs) to obtain their Masters of Science in Nursing degree through the NNCOP.

The mission of the NNCOP is to increase the number of Masters prepared American Indian and Alaskan Native nurses and help advance them in their careers.

On behalf of the NNCOP staff and School of Nursing, we welcome you to our site and look forward to working with you.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you would like more information.
