AAPM/Pfizer Visiting Professor: Keela Herr, PhD, RN, FAAN, AGSF

The Minnesota Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing is pleased to offer the following scholarly presentations by Dr. Keela Herr , Professor and Chair of Adult Gerontology at the University of Iowa College of Nursing during her visit on April 14-16, 2009.

Dr. Herr is an international expert in evidence-based guidelines for pain management in older adults and in end-of-life curricula. The slides and audio of her three public lectures are now available via links below.

Awarded Continuing Education Contact Hours

University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Office of Practice, Business and Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity is awarded 1.0 contact hours.

This program is designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing requirements for continuing education and is awarded 1.2 contact hours. It is the responsibility of the individual nurse to determine if the course fulfills that requirement. This program expires: April 14, 2011.
