Student Scholarships

Gifts for nursing scholarships help attract promising students and ease the burden of tuition. Scholarship funds listed below are those that have been designated as funding priorities for the 2006-2007 year.

Scholarship Funding Priorities - Undergraduate

1. I Want to Be a Nurse Scholarship

  • Provides support for new undergraduate nursing students.
  • Gifts to this endowed scholarship will have double impact through the President's Scholarship Match.

2. Katharine Densford Dreves Scholarship

  • Presented to nursing students who demonstrate superior scholastic achievement or promise.
  • Established in honor and memory of Katharine Densford Dreves, the School's distinguished director from 1930-1959.

3. Nursing Alumni Scholarship

  • Supports students who have potential for contributing to the nursing profession and who provide evidence of community service and leadership.
  • Designated scholarships for alumni memorial and tribute contributions.
