Setting the Stage for the Evolution of Baccalaureate Nursing Education

The Katharine J Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) have joined together to make available a video -- Setting the Stage for the Evolution of Baccalaureate Nursing Education -- that highlights several trends that need to be taken into consideration if schools of nursing are to adequately prepare their graduates to practice in the current health care environment.  Joanne Disch, PhD, RN, FAAN, Director of the Densford Center, delivered this content as an introduction to each of the five regional AACN conferences reviewing the draft of the revised baccalaureate competencies.
