Community Forums and Nursing Grand Rounds
Community forums grew from Nursing Grand Rounds in order to expand the dialogue to a wider variety of participants.  Held once or twice per academic year, they have drawn up to 200 people to hear and discuss topics such as global health, health care reform, and the relationship between public health and the media. The Densford Center’s Community Forums have featured prominent local and national health care representatives and experts.
Nursing Grand Rounds presented topics of particular interest to the nursing profession, including nurses in the military and the role of schools in helping prevent childhood obesity.
