HIPAA Privacy

Effective: April 14, 2003

In accordance with the April 14, 2003, implementation of the Privacy Rule component of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Minnesota Continence Associates is required to provide each patient with a copy of the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices at the time of first service delivery on, or after, April 14, 2003.

Additionally, each patient must complete an acknowledgement that they did, in fact, receive a copy from our clinic. If you have not received a copy, and are not offered a copy at your next visit, please inquire at the clinic reception areas.
