This website is part of the San Francisco Department of Health. The goals of the CHIPPS program include creating awareness that many injuries to older people can be prevented, developing simple ways to recognize and correct injury hazards, and providing resources and information to health professionals and the public. Available on this website are links to a home safety checklist, injury prevention tips, and a guide to preventing falls in seniors.
