Two Campus Locations

The nursing major is now available at two campus locations, the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus and the University of Minnesota Rochester campus. Policies, application materials and course content are the same at both campuses. At the University of Minnesota Rochester, prerequisites differ slightly due to course availability at the Rochester Community and Technical College. If you plan on applying to the nursing major at the University of Minnesota Rochester, use the prerequisite course list (PDF).

Nursing courses at the University of Minnesota Rochester are taught with a combination of on-site faculty, Web, interactive television and other technology-enhanced delivery methods. Clinical sites include the Mayo Health System and health care facilities in the southeast metro and Rochester areas. Some clinical coursework may be in the Twin Cities.
