 	<title>School of Nursing faculty and students receive top honors at 2012 Midwest Nursing Research Society conference</title>

         <description>Clinical Associate Professor Linda Herrick has been elected president-elect of the MNRS; her two-year term was kicked off at the research society's annual conference, held April 12-15, 2012 in Dearborn, Michigan. Herrick has been an active member of MNRS since 1995 with participation in conferences, research sections, task forces, and committees. Other School of Nursing faculty elected to positions include: Associate Professor Linda Chlan who was elected as secretary; Assistant Professor Kristine Talley who was elected as the chair of the Gerontological Nursing Section, and Assistant Professor Fang Yu who was elected as the chair of the Scholarship Committee. Assistant Professor Casey Hooke received the 2012 Outstanding Dissertation Award from the MNRS Pediatric Research Section and DNP student Mindy Yoder earned first place in the DNP Student Poster Competition.</description>

Finalists in each category will be honored at an event in July and featured in the August issue of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine.
