         <description>If you have had a professional encounter with a nurse you consider to be outstanding&#44; submit a nomination.  This can be done by anyone - a consumer&#44; a parent&#44; a clinic&#44; a peer&#44; a doctor&#44; a patient&#44; a staff member. The nurse must be an RN but they could be employed as an educator&#44; a school nurse&#44; a clinic nurse&#44; a hospital nurse&#44; etc.  
 
The nominations will be reviewed by a blue-ribbon panel that includes the Executive Director of the American Nurses Credentialing Center&#44; an Associate Professor from the School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota&#44; and a nurse representative from the Mayo Clinic.
 
Finalists in each category will be honored at an event in July and featured in the August issue of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine.
 
This is a wonderful opportunity to salute individuals in a profession that often goes unrecognized for its contributions.</description>
